The Bath Hotel was designed by Thomas English and built in 1881 on the corner of the Parade and Queen Street, Norwood. The original Bath Hotel had been built in 1856. Today the bath hotel is a thriving meeting point for both locals and visitors to the area. Offering great food, wine and live entertainment.

Entering his 15th year of cooking, Joshua De Haas has a wealth of experience. Joshua comes from a family steep in hospitality and culinary tradition and has worked and run some of Adelaide’s best kitchens. Over the years he has developed strong relationships with local suppliers and producers to ensure he has access to the best local produce. Joshua has a particular interest in American BBQ and yoder smoked meats, he has travelled extensively and incorporates many of his travel culinary experiences into his menu.

Once a spare parts garage, this newly transformed food and cocktail restaurant screams contemporary New York, from the brick-naked walls to the funky, wooden interior. Behind the two hundred year old Egyptian carved doors, an array of industrial style lights illuminate the moody hangout, perfect for hipsters and youngsters alike or for the post nine-to-five unwind. Grab a stool, relish in the hip, yet intimate vibe and then select something from Base’s mouth-watering menu.
